Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless Water Heaters

Are you tired of running out of hot water? Are you tired of waiting on your water to heat up after four family members have showered? Or maybe you’re just tired of having a tank full of hot water heating and reheating itself. If any of those scenarios apply to you- a tankless water heater may be your answer. Tankless water heaters are exceptionally efficient, they require less space for installation (generally), and can be used with recirculating systems to not only provide you with endless hot water, but also instant hot water. I provide and install Rinnai tankless units. Tankless water heaters are most suitable for natural gas and propane fueled homes and I do not normally recommend electric tankless units for a whole home installation. They are not as efficient and can require extreme electrical supply upgrades. They may however be used to provide hot water in certain instances. Tankless water heaters are definitely an investment, but the energy efficiency and ability to always have hot water are huge benefits. They also last longer than most tank type water heaters. Although a tank type water heater can have an extended life via changing anode rods and removing sediment built up inside the water heater, a tankless unit is easier to maintain and clean (this should be done yearly by a trained professional). And the results last longer.
