Nice to Meet You!

My name is Linda Hudek and I am the owner and operator of LH Plumbing Services located here in Fairfield, OH. I have been in business for over 12 years now and I have been plumbing almost 17 years. I am often asked why I chose plumbing, since it is atypical to be a woman in this field. I started working for my Dad my senior year of high school and although I had other career plans initially, I found that I very much enjoyed the work environment and the challenges inherent to the trade. So after high school, I began working for him full time in the commercial plumbing sector while also attending college after work and on the weekends where I eventually received my degree in business management. It was my goal very early to open my own company and work for myself (after a short period of uncertainty- I’m guessing most of us go through this when we are young!) which I did in late 2010. Although I learned and began plumbing in the new construction arena, I have specialized in service now for the majority of my self-employed career. I truly enjoy being an advocate for our trade, in particular promoting learning and growth within our trade, so that we as plumbers may continue to protect the health of the nation. This also involves spreading awareness among consumers as to the importance of hiring educated and licensed plumbers that care about their safety and well being.

On a personal note, I am very happily married to a wonderful, Godly man and we have three dogs (the children that never grow up)- Buster, Ppup and Ophie. We enjoy our home life and spending time outdoors and with family. I am an avid reader and scuba diver and my husband fishes while I dive. :)
